ORGANIZATIONAL AND METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF THE TOBACCO ADDICTION TREATMENT

Abstract

In the review we summarize results of studies of the organizational and methodological aspects of tobacco addiction treatment, data on the prevalence of this phenomenon among the population are examined, and thematically related issues of diagnosis, treatment and prevention are discussed. There are established, that researches are mainly focused on the epidemiology of the phenomenon and the studies of the effectiveness of the use of drugs. There aren't publications with a high degree of evidence on the use of non>drug methods have been identified. There aren't descriptions of the original methods of medical prophylaxis of a high degree of evidence. There aren't results of studies in organizational medical technology. The medical and social aspects of the formation of nicotine addiction in patients with mental disorders is poorly studied. These research areas require more attention and development.
