DESCRIPTION OF A CLINICAL CASE OF REAGILA (KARIPRAZIN) USE IN THERAPEUTICALLY RESISTANT PARANOID SCHIZOPHRENIA COMORBID WITH ADDICTIVE DISORDER
Abstract
A complex clinical case of a patient with therapeutically resistant schizophrenia and comorbid substance misuse is presented. In this case, we describe in detail the onset of the disease, its further development, and the long-term selection of therapy followed by the appointment of cariprazine, against which the resistant hallucinatory-paranoid symptoms were significantly reduced. The interest of the given case for professional consideration and discussion is due to the practically proven effectiveness of the use of cariprazine in the presence of a double psychiatric diagnosis, namely, during the supervision of the therapist formed against the background of taking psychoactive substances.
