Principles and diagnostic tools bipolar affective disorder as foundation for rational pharmacotherapy
Abstract
The article presents the principles of modern diagnosis of bipolar affective disorder, describes the differences in the criteria of modern international diagnostic systems ICD-10 and DSM-IV, analyzes the impact of changes in adapted for the Russia version of ICD-10 on the differences in the detection of bipolar disorder in our country and abroad, and the importance of early diagnosis of the disease. In visual for practitions form provides differential diagnostic features of bipolar disorder with other diseases, describes the basic screening, diagnostic and rating scales and questionnaires and principles of their use.
