Abstract

n the experiment it was established, that the pharmacological action of selective anxiolytic fabomotizole revealed in different models of anxiety states in a wide range of doses – from 0.5
to 10.0 mg/kg.
Objectives: To study the differences of the therapeutic action and the effectiveness of fabomotizole in doses of 30 mg and 60 mg per day in patients with different anxiety disorders.
Methods: 120 patients (42 men and 78 women) with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD, F41.1, n = 40), panic disorders with agoraphobia (PD, F40.0, n = 40) and nosophobia (NP, F45.2,
n = 40) were treated fabomotizole for 14 days. Among them 90 took fabomotizole 30 mg daily and 30 – fabomotizole 60 mg daily. We used Psychiatric Symptoms Severity Evaluation
Questionnaire, HARS, VAS-A, MFI-20, CGI.
Results and conclusion: We revealed dose-dependent differences of therapeutic action and effectiveness of fabomotizole. 30 mg, compared with a dose of 60 mg. A more rapid development
of the effect of fabomotizole in patients with anxiety disorders with its use at a dose of 30 mg, compared with a dose of 60 mg. Higher therapeutic results using the dose 30 mg noted in
patients with GAD in contrast to the lack of the efficiency of both doses in PD and HD patients. It is shown that in clinical settings an increase of the fabomotizole dose from 30 to 60 mg
daily was not associated with better anxiolytic effectiveness.
