Current trends in the treatment of anxiety disorders

Abstract

In an article in accordance with the methods of evidence-based medicine provides an overview of the current data on the treatment of anxiety disorders spectrum. Summarizes the epidemiology and different ways of drug therapy of anxiety disorders, including antidepressants, tranquilizers, atypical antipsychotics, anticonvulsants, and betaLblockers. Given the comparative analysis of randomized controlled trials on the effectiveness of these groups of drugs with panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder and postLtraumatic stress disorder. Based on the analysis of literature data suggested clinical guidelines for the treatment of all anxiety problems.
