Agression: acute management

Abstract

Currently, there is a disproportion between a relatively high level of knowledge of pharmacotherapy and less developed skills of management aggressive patients. This article is the first part describing guidelines management of patients with aggression. Both high risks and responsibility of clinical decisions underpins the necessity of constant knowledge refreshment. The article describes the hazards of aggression. More importantly, diagnostic strategy of patients with aggression and violence is presented.
