The role of psychical factor in sleep disorders

Abstract

Among the factors that affect sleep, stress occupies a significant place. Sleep performs the most important adaptive function, part of which is anti-stress. The article presents the results of studies of the effect of stress on the sleep of healthy subjects. Changes in sleep parameters under stressful loads are described, the role of personal factors and adaptation mechanisms in the response of somnogenic systems to stress is discussed. The psychosomic patterns of stress-resistant and negatively affected by stress are presented and the development of acute insomnia of individuals. The probability of increasing the adaptive capabilities of a person under stress by normalizing sleep with the help of hypnotics is shown.
