Emergency care for aggressive behavior

Abstract

The article is the second of two publications devoted to aggression as an urgent condition in psychiatry. The paper analyzes various aspects of the management of patients with aggressive behavior. The author analyzed the use of pharmacological and non-pharmacogenic methods of aggression control. Particular attention is paid to methods of rapid tranquilization, the advantages and limitations of their use. The proposed algorithm of therapeutic measures for aggressive behavior is based on the sequence of clinical decisions made aimed at preventing repeated episodes of aggression.
